Reliability Week: Recap
In reliability week we've learned that patterns on-premises can become anti-patterns on Cloud.
We started off by reviewing the 6 Rs of Cloud Migrations and how to apply them to our architecture. We then looked at the design principles of Availability Zones and Regions to better understand how to architect. Finally we talked about how to ensure resiliency combined with performance through the use of Static Stability to ensure our base level of capacity is accounted for.
Throughout the week we've touched on how reliability needs to be carefully considered and balanced with cost. This perfectly bridges us into our next topic - how to manage Cost, on our Cloud Ready journey.
